Make Green Eyes Stand Out with Brown Eyeliner
An eyeliner that I have been reaching for so often lately is the Bourjois Metallise metallic eyeliner in Brun Alliage. Brun Alliage is a deep, dark brown with a very soft metallic aspect to it that reflects in light. The shimmer is barely noticeable but has a wonderful way of reflecting in my pupils and just makes my eyes sparkle with life and enhances the greenness. Take a look at the photo above to see what I mean.
I notice that when I wear this eyeliner that I get loads of compliments on my eye colour and my eyes so it is 100% worth buying..although I think it is not made anymore :( It is such a pity as this is a fabulous product, waterproof, soft to apply and rich in colour.
Ah well, I will be looking for a dupe soon!

Face Of The Day Featuring Bourjois Blush in LILAS D'OR
I purchased LILAS D'OR blush from Bourjois quite a while ago but have only just got around to using it. My goodness I LOVE it! So pretty, so natural looking and the formula is super smooth meaning it does not leave a powdery finish.
A little bit of trivia from the Bourjois website -
Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush is our iconic and timeless product since 1863.
Bourjois Little Round Pot blush was the first ever dry powder making make-up accessible to all women everyday in the 19th century
I don't use the scratchy teeny tiny brush that comes with it (it also has a mirror in the tiny pot) but it is perfect for scratching the surface to release the product as I find that after a few uses my brush doesn't pick up the blusher.
I find the shade LILAS D'OR ultra flattering, what do you think? What shades from the range are your favourite?
Bourjois Little Round Pots Blusher are available in 12 shades and cost £7.99 each.

No7 Limited Edition Eye Colour In Pewter
When I attended a sneak preview of the No7 Autumn/Winter Minimalism Collection, one of the stand out products from the range for me was the Eye Colour in Pewter.
Pewter is a really lovely cream formula eye shadow in dark grey. The applicator is soft and easy to use, you can use it to create just a simple wash of colour or layer it on for a more intense colour.
As you can see from the swatch above though, this is far nicer than just a flat dark grey. Pewter is actually a gorgeous metallic shade with traces of warm gold and bronze.
In this picture you can see the metallic flecks coming through.
When I have my eyes open it looks something like this
I have lined my lower lash line with Bourjous Regard Effet Duochrome Eyeliner in 60 Gris perle which is a two toned grey/purple liner. In natural light it looks the perfect grey match for this eye shadow but under certain lights the purple tone becomes more prominent.
Both grey and purple are really flattering for green eyes, I love this combination.
No7 Limited Edition Eye Colour In Pewter costs £9.50 and is out now.

Bourjois Regard Effet Metallise Metallic Eyeliners
Bourjois Regard Effet Metallise Eye Pencil
51 Noir Effet Miroir - A dark grey (charcoal) with a slight metallic sheen
77 Brun Alliage - A rich brown with a slight shimmer
These are currently my favourite eyeliners. Soft and creamy with no drag, they literally glide across the skin. The colour is so intense you will only need to draw on once. Once dry they do not budge for hours and they are waterproof. I was so impressed with their staying power. I applied the eye pencil at 4pm and at midnight my eyes looked exactly the same. Simply fantastic!
Brun is really wearable for day and the Noir Effet is great for creating a smokey eye effect and not as harsh as a strong flat black.
Have you tried these liners?
