Inside October 2012 GlossyBox
October's GlossyBox has arrived!
This month the theme is DIY Beauty with products for home pampering
I have to say I am rather impressed with this month's offerings and the overall value of the box. I will definitely be using the majority of the content's of this box and actually quite looking forward to them!
So what's inside ?
YVES ROCHER Instant Anti-Wrinkle Moisturiser - Hydra Vegetal £18 for 30ml
This is top of my to use list - a full size product in the box and one that on paper is ideal for my skin type and my age! - normal/combination and in my 30's... This claims to provide intense hydration to instantly smooth wrinkle prone areas. I have opened this and it has a gorgeous fresh cucumber scent (similar to the scent of Estee Lauder's DayWear Anti-Oxidant Moisturiser) and has a light fluid/gel texture.
Full review to follow once I have properly tried it.
Anatomicals Don't Just Clean It Woman, Scrub It Body Scrub - 75ml sample
A very decent trial size and the grapefruit scent is appealing and zesty!
Skinetica Anti Blemish - no mention of sample size
Of all the products this will most probably not get used. I don't get many spots and just let them run their course when I do. This is a product to clear skin blemishes within 2-3 days. It smells a bit like washing up liquid so doesn't really appeal to me.
The Organic Pharmacy Enzyme Peel Mask with Vitamin C & Papaya - 5ml sample
I am a huge fan of the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel so am very interested to see how this compares. This smells equally tempting. This promises to renew dull skin, improve elasticity and even skin tone. Sadly though I am a bit disappointed at how small the sample is, I think I would be able to eek out one or two uses.
This costs £49 for 40ml tube.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - shade Black Platinum - £6.99
Another full size product. The complete salon manicure is a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, colour and top coat in one bottle. This shade has a black pearl effect.
What do you think? What did you receive in yours?
