Hi and welcome, my name is Bettina, I am a 30 something married with an adorable 4yr old son. I am a freelance writer, proofreader and beauty editor.
BeautySwot is for the most part a beauty blog about my quest for great beauty finds (both makeup and skincare) and treatments. I will be writing honest reviews, providing the latest news and indulging in general makeup chatter.
I love all things to do with skincare and make-up, it's my passion. Although I will happily walk past rows of clothes and shoes without rummaging, I can usually be found down the make-up aisles or perusing the make-up counters for hours on end looking for my latest must have.
I do adore diamonds and pearls too though so you may find I throw in a few ramblings about the pretty things I have seen, desire or need.
My other big love in life is having Afternoon Tea. I probably have afternoon tea twice a year and never tire of trying different teas, enjoying the sandwiches and saving enough room for the sweets at the end, it is an art form believe me. I am aiming to have at least one in every London establishment that offers it, and elsewhere when the opportunity arises. I will be blogging my experiences and writing reviews of the places I visit as I think that everyone should experience Afternoon Tea at least once in their lifetime!
